The
California Department of Pesticide Regulation (DPR) has
implemented a new program in which they’ve designated
2.4 million acres across California where groundwater
is most vulnerable to pesticide contamination. The regulations
of this new program prescribe actions to prevent pesticides
from reaching the groundwater below those areas.
